Bretons wood wall art gets its own wall, with a big thanks to its namesake.
“It’s a beautiful wall, and it has that nice, warm, rustic feel to it,” Bretons owner, Rachel Wood, told us.
It has been a labor of love, she added, and she and her husband, Todd, have worked tirelessly on the project since she received the idea in 2011.
The wall, which measures 18 feet by 10 feet, has been on display in various locations around the world.
The Woods hope to expand its reach in the coming months, as the wood wall project has grown to include a wood shop, a barbershop, a coffee shop and a book shop.
As for why it’s called Bretons Wall Art, Rachel told us, “It’s not just a wall that sits in a corner of our home.
It’s a symbol of who we are as a family, and a way to show that we love each other.”

The wood wall has inspired a lot of conversation in the community, especially when it comes to gender and race.
Rachel and Todd, who live in Texas, decided to open the wood shop in 2013.
Todd is also a professional woodworker.
The Woods recently opened a coffee and book shop in the same building, which was created after the couple decided to make a business from the wood.
